Help please - front speaker connection
I’m hoping someone on here can help please. I have bought an ex-Police V8 (via this forum!). The front speaker connections have been cut right next to the block as per the attached photo, can I get a replacement connector block? Is it that simple??2007 V8 S

Can you not use a de-pinning tool and release the old pins from the block ? then re-solder new pins on ? a pair of needle nose pliers or even tweezers may allow you to grip the short lengths if at all possible.I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Thanks for your replies, I’ll look at using a depinning tool. What I also need to do is find the wires! It looks like the police used the front speakers for their radio so I don’t know what state the other connections are in (although the rear speakers work).2007 V8 S

Replacement is probably a better option than depinning and soldering! How much would the connectors be and how easy are they to fit (I’m not an auto electrician!). Thanks.2007 V8 S
