I told the dealer at the recent first service ( 12 months ) - only 8,000 miles on the clock that the headlights flashed when I operated the windscreen washers.
Sir .... came the reply we have checked it ut and believe that it is the headlamp washers spraying the headlights and distorting the light beam when you pull the windscreen washer lever !!
Of course this was true !! I felt pretty daft. I have to admit this was an excellent explanation and a true one.
I think this forum is great and the tip on opening the fuel flap from inside the boot (when it sometimes sticks ) was a life saver this summer at 0430 in some god damn French petrol station where you have to have a French Credit card or may as well start drilling for oil.
If we give our vehicles too much of a bad name people will start to believe it. Rather like the owners.
I think my Discovery is a a great vehicle. Its design is both bold and clever rather like I suspect its owners !!!!
