Head light gaurds

Well I ordered some headlight gaurd from TLO and I'm just waiting for them to make thier voyage accross the pond. I was looking at photos and I have a small gripe about them why do they show a small sliver of the light at the top between the bonnet and gaurd. Wouldnt look better like this (the one on the right)
