I stayned at the Royal Mail in Meeka a couple of times in the '90's. They has a sign on the door that read "Strictly no thongs after 6pm on Friday"Have a nice day!

I probably should point out that thongs in the UK are G strings, and what we refer to as thongs, the Poms call Flip Flops
I only founds this out after attending a training course there in 1999 and telling a few locals in Yarmouth how we aussies wear our thongs everywhere as they are light and let the air in. I did get some strange looks.
I guess I had the last laugh when I saw them drinking Fosters.Trust me, what could go wrong?
