Lunar Eclipse.

Anybody getting a view of the eclipse? East coast of Australia has the best land view.
We have cloud cover in the Eastern Suburbs. Twisted Evil

Commissioned Housed And Violent in the Northern Suburbs are getting a clear view with no clouds. They will probably shoot at it or try to stab it. Wink

The kids are waiting to see me turn the Moon blood red. Whistle
Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

I have My telescope set, with Nikon adapter and Olympus OM2 set up ready to snap. If this bloody cloud will break.
Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Yes OMG an OM2. I have had it since new & I'm still to find a digital that can do the job as well as it can. Cost Me $2500 in 1981. Carried me around Europe, twice, through an under grad degree and a Ph.D. I owe that camera heaps.

Best camera I ever used was an OM2SP! Used to carry that and an OM10 as a backup. Still have it somewhere but now gone digital. Sad

Australia 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Maya GoldDiscovery 3

Got a good gander at it last night Thumbs Up Had to view it through trees though as I would spill my beer trouging over the hill in knee deep snow, blood red and looked good as it was happening, [Perisher Valley sking for the week] Very Happy
Yesterday too windy so drove down to Tom Groggen for a play, had a look at the crossing over the Murrey River that acceses the Davies Plain FT, probibly could have got across, the depth a bit deep but without a second vechle just in case I opted not. In summer this is a good trip down this way to Buccan and the caves Thumbs Up Also NPWS sighn stated trail closed until December so did not wont to upset aneybody and cast a bad name on us 4wd comunity. Also this has fantastic camp spots, so now planing a trip down here next summer , I will have to be sweet on SHMBO Whistle
