Gurvan - Disco 3 Tdv6 HSE - Paris, France

Great my Disco 3 which had been sitting at the dealership for over a month as we were still in Senegal, has been delivered today !

The only drawback is that I can't drive it... My wife who's back in France has taken delivery but as I am still in Senegal, I can only dream of it... Wink

Anyway, I am still happy about it...

Apart from a glitch on the ordering form (Seems the vehicle does'nt have the front PDC...), everything seems to be functionning well and as advertised... does anyone know if the front PDC can be dealership installed ?

Only 42 days before I can drive it too ! Wink

Gurvan, glad you have taken delivery, or your wife of the D3. 42 days would be murder not being able to drive the D3. Re the sensors, there is no reason why they cannot be fitted, but if the wires are not in the vehicle, it as usual becomes a problem.

Thnaks for the advice BN ! I appreciate it... But it seems that not only the wires might be missing but also the sensors in the front bumper... That might imply a change of the whole thing, no ? Anyway, I don't have pictures right now, thus I can't tell if it there or not...

But it is minor... If it is not feasible, I'll get a refund... Wink

Propably better to obtain the refund as they are not really that useful in the front. There are after market ones for about £80 if you really need them.

I thought the HSE had front PDC as standard ? Maybe a region thing ?

No specs vary a lot in other countries. Some HSE's don't have leather seats for instance. That is why I know I could fit one in the 'S' versions, but LR CS don't appear to know this, what a surprise.

Yes I had an idea it may be so. The HSE in some countries also has cloth seats as standard, plus other lower specs.

I would definitly get a refund, I have PDC front and rear, and its useful on the rear, but only a luxury on the front.

Anyhow, it does not always come on, so one day I will crash into something whilst listening for the beeps!

Seats OK, its the lack of springs that gets me. Great fun though.

Yep, still sounds like the D3 'S' seat.
