Greets from Poland ;)
Still working on it, but definetly the good way
We (family of 5!) did a month trip to Iceland and Faroe Islands this summer. It was really unbelievable experience to get there with own D3. We made it across the most popular offroad routes on the Iceland, also with river crossing and rock crawling.

Fast question - I have a MT tires almost 33”. I cut the frame a little and install XLifter kit to provide permanent lift, but on the road not everytime when I turn the whells right or left with low speed ABS is turning on. Sensors are new, so it is not that. After I changed wheels for
31” it stopped. It is not a big problem but I wish someone have a solution.

Wow!
Thanks a lot for replies!
Yep. Three kids 6, 4 and 0,5 it is definetly huge challenge, but also really different way of travelling. Three years ago we did Nordkapp tour way around Baltic Countries, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Then on the road back to Poland we started to think about next desitnation. After few minutes on the highway park lot stopped big truck from Smyrilline Faroe Islands and Iceland... soooo... it was obvious sign.
I will post more. Maybe some kind of review of travel preparations, car prep, and then from places where we had more challenge.
What do You guys think?
Here, or somewhere else? I dont want to make a mess on forum so please advice me where to post this kind of full expedition relation.

Woow, this is amazing! Greetings from Baltic states.
I admire your trips, so brave to do it in super reliable car like Disco Joking.
