After 4 years in Norway I’m moving to Sweden. It was far too expensive to consider importing my V8 here but think I’ll import it to Sweden now. It’s a 6 year contract and the LR is set up as an overlander so I’ll get plenty of use out of it.
I don’t want to make it LHD but wondered if anyone had any experience taking their RHD to a LHD country and the type of work/costs involved.
I guess any garage near Stockholm which can be recommended would be great too!
Thanks all!

I think you need to ask the Swedes on how to import a vehicle from outside EU… it’s different rules now unfortunately.
Usually you need a homologation certificate and you will (might) need to change the driving lights for LHD pattern.

I only changed the headlights from RHD to LHD for Poland.
Bought a set on Allegro.pl almost new and better than the originals.

Afternoon,
We have just re-registered a UK 2005 D3 in France, it failed the CT with UK headlights on LHD setting, but passed when we removed the UK stickers............
We obtained all the paperwork from LR UK which was rejected as they have added a comment about registering the car in a non RHD country post Brexit. But LR France were excellent and sent everything we needed the same day.
