Greenlaning NZ style
Hi all,
So down here we are in the last month of winter. As a keen amateur photographer, that's a great time to get out and get some snaps, and the Disco is the best way to do that! Does mean I need to wash it though....
If you are interested, I did do a timelapse of the trip up and down, which shows you the type of country we have:

But it did get me to some places to get some great shots!

King of the typo.
MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!

Hmm, sorry, Imgur seems to be giving me issues....
Never mind, seems it was just my PC. King of the typo.

I admire your work with the lens(es) KiwiD4.
Only once did I get to drive in snow and it was about a thin as the first lot in your excellent time lapse video.
We have to put up with subtropical conditions here and it won't improve as global warming keeps happening.LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)
Nice photos … what's the filter/processing on this one ?

and it's not just your PC … I've looked at your post 4 times and the pictures have only shown twice, although it does say "click on image to enlarge".

Definitely closed the gates! I grew up in a rural area, and I know the golden rule - leave every gate as you found it!
That particular photo is actually just taken with my iPhone. I use an app called Snapseed to do some very basic editing - in that case, just a slight touch of vibrancy and saturation, and adding the frame. I do believe the best camera is the one with you. Kind of ironic that I have several thousand pounds worth of high end camera gear with me at that point, and yet chose the phone for that one!
I am not sure what is up with Imgur - the photos are totally fine on my iPad, yet won’t display in the laptop. King of the typo.

Yeah, not a lot of the white stuff on your side of the Tasman. Maybe a little in NSW/Vic, but not like here!
You will have to cross the ditch for a holiday in Queenstown next winter - that will give you plenty of snow driving experience!
