Goodbye Noddy, Hello Jeeves
So after two years and 36,000 miles of painless and trouble free ownership, I've sold Noddy, my Defender and bought Jeeves, a Euro6 2015 D4 HSE with an amazing service history that I picked up today.
Absolutely love it!
Apple Carplay and hopefully heated steering wheel being fitted next week by CDS. Other goodies already purchased.

Massive congrats mate , that will be nice getting a heated steering wheel
Those rims really set it off and must confess always prefer the piano black trim but believe itās quite expensive to change
Wishing u Safe and happy travels

Very nice.
Be sure to read up regarding adblue model foibles. Managing oil dilution is key.
Enjoy your new car. They really are great.
CheersGary

Thanks chaps.
Black and wood inlay wasn't my choice but the car's service history was the deciding factor. I can't believe how well it drives. Daft as it sounds, its almost as though it was new.
The reason I bought my Defender was because I went to buy a D4 from a dealer but thought it drove 'old' if that makes sense. If that car had driven like this one, I wouldn't have bought the Defender, however, what really drove me back to the D4 was my daughter's D3 that I used whilst she was her gap year after her A levels and my mate who has a new Defender and 2010 D4, but used the D4 most of the time. When it was recently written off he thought it worth having it repaired because it's so good.
Anyway, let's hope Gerry has realised the error of his ways and that the D6 will go back to its roots.
The D3/4 is the best all round car Land Rover has made and permagrin is a thing. D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

They should rename D3/4s DiscHotelCalifornias!!!
Though personally not tempted as it would just sit on the drive, wondering where her owner is off to now!

Nice one Moo, it obviously shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone on here that you've gone down this route having said how much you preferred your old D4 to your 110 on many occasions.Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

I agree! The drift was evidentš, and in reality it never left, that's how it is, a lesson in being consistent...and brave, and although I don't agree with it, I think it's legitimate...from Spain I send you a greeting, good luck with the butler, enjoy it a lot MooĀ”
