I too was given a new "GB" plate for the D4 to save me having an ugly GB sticker on the car. They also supplied one for my tintent at no cost. I know it's nothing really in the greater scheme of things but it was a nice touch. As was the cleaning up of the rack and tow bar. Not expected but very much appreciated.
Fuel wise having covered 1500+ miles both towing and solo there is an improvement over the D3 which is completely lost under the right foot trying to feel the extra power. Amazing tow car, really steady compared to my 06 which wandered a bit and made the level of concentration much higher than the D4. A far more relaxed drive towing. 
Can't really fault OB for their service and genuine care.
