Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we can record all the GOOD things that our dealerships have done for us in the hope that they might read our encouraging, praising comments and want to do even better.
So thanks Yeovil Landrover for an excellent 1st service today which cost £238.00 and included a car clean inside and out. Well done 2004 Discovery 3 - gone

My parents car has been in for 2 days due to a suspension fault. The dealers have found it and put their hands up it was caused by them when they replaced a compressor earlier in the year. Might sound strange but top marks to Harwoods for being big enough to put their hands up. Most would have made some story up to hide the fact. Honesty means a lot. Can't speak highly enough of my DP at Stratstone Driffield/Middleton, the service dept have also been very helpful, if not totally successful at solving the suspension issues with mine.

I know some have posted bad things about Guy Salmon, but I must recommend my Guy Salmon dealer in Stratford upon Avon.
They resolved my new car paint issue to my satisfaction and have always told me what the cause of problems is. They logged onto this web site after seeing my sticker and were astounded by the rubbish some dealers have told you all.
At the moment, they are working to get the heater problem solved.
So this dealership continues to get my business and they look after me.
Thanks

This is the problem, it is in the eye of the person posting. I have never had a bad dealer when it comes to selling me a car. However, when it comes to repairs or 'out of their pocket' cost repairs, things can change. My dealer is brilliant.

Brian, not sure what you are saying ?
Of course this is my honest opinion and experience - I have used the service department at Guy Salmon since 1999 (Disco 2) and only bought the disco 3 from them on the basis of the good service they have given me.
Before that I used Farnell in Bradford. Great service department (Disco 1) but I wouldnt buy a second car from them and didnt. The Disco 2 came from Ripon Land Rover who were good to buy from but I cannot comment on the service department.
Do you think your dealer is so good to you (maybe only you) because you are a business buyer with a fleet of vehicles ?

I think this dealership are very proficient, helpful, and honest, I have been with them for about 5 years, and although sometimes the price seems a bit high (but it is Land Rover ) I will always recommend them for the service. Oh and PS I do NOT work for them.

J V Like, Hay on Wye, Powys, Great Dealer Excellent Sales, Parts and Service and the best coffee and walnut cake in the county. When it goes wrong they just get on and fix it. They are “CRISPâ€. Just bought a 110 county from them. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Said good things already around the forum for these guys !
Always glad to help and there for a chat. Fix stuff when it breaks and will push LR to get things done when LRCS are being pants.
Service prices by the book and no topping up with frilly crap like the city dealers.
Dealt with them for two Freelanders and now the D3.
Good people with good attitude !

Cause they love Landies (boss has tricked up 'safari' he shows at Eastnor.
Fitted new boots on my girl today (well she's had them for 32K miles) and have got around the suspension cleverness.
Good prices and staff entertaining with their own brand of banter
Will use them from now on... don't like those large 'we know it all mate' multi outlet shops. Personality rather lacking and you don't even have the boss make you a coffee !
Cheers.
