Gents, I'd appreciate if those of you who I didn't meet personally to give you your ropes, please send me a PM or reply on this thread to say that you've received the rope - this is particularly important if your rope was sent by DHL as I don't want to bin the receipts and then find we need to claim for a lost rope
Those of you who have already done so, many thanks
Oh and I'm still waiting for payment of one or two one ropes - no naming and shaming yet, but I really would appreciate getting the dosh before my credit card bill arrives next week. All I'm asking, is you just do a sanity check to make sure you've sent your payment - I've done the same in the past, could have sworn I'd paid, but on checking through my cheque stubs I realised I'd hadn't
Thanks LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I collected some ropes at Snowdonia ... took them to the SE meet as requested.
Could ELD70 and Beachboy contact me to sort out collection/delivery ?

A public thank you to both John and Matthias. Much appreciated chaps I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Only just got them.... I could've driven them to you direct in that time... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

The tow rope is a superb bit of kit, just wondered if I need to buy some bow shackles to help attach to vehicles? If so, can anyone advise on what size/rating to buy and a good supplier. Thanks as always

I have a set of bow shackles as well, just incase the hooks don't go on. Try http://www.liftingandcrane.co.uk who supplied the ropes. 4 Tonne rating should be fine - but I'm sure someone will confirm if that's wrong. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
