OK I am interested!
But dont know whether to go for gps or not!?
So advice peeps!
Again I know where I am & have been (usually!).
Also I have the very basic D3 so no screen in motor (at mo).
But for an extra £20 is it worth getting the gps one?
Might even be interested in a couple or 3!! LOL! Just all depends! (Plus funds at time!)
So if wired up correct! Does it film whilst parked up? So say if someone bumped into it over night, it may catch it? I know it's not got IR but may catch something?
Handy thing to have I imagine!

As the result of Wiggs youtube marketing video a GPS version for me please, any idea of when they will be available?
I would also be interested in the discounted cost of an additional power lead (just in case I use the one that come with it to hard wire to the battery) and extra mount for use on other vehicles if available.
I also see that the picture of the GPS model they show on their website is the old one with the external GPS, can you just confirm that the ones being supplied are the new internal GPS models.
Thanks

DiscoTres, you wont be able to use the SatNav or Ipad at night cos it causes a reflection on the inside of the screen that the BlackVue captures. I turn my SatNav off for clarity.
As mentioned before, The Blackvue is'nt great through HSE tints in the rear........especially in the Winter Months, IMHO not worth it for the little summer we get

Did you not buy the optional 'lens shield'? Can you actually use it at night anyway?
What is great about the ipad is that you can just pop in the SD card and watch your trip (and accident) in absolute clarity immediately
Could someone just clarify for me that where the camera will sit (behind the rear view mirror), it is within the wipe area of the screen, my car is at the stealers being repaired (don't ask, common parking brake problem on here and second time too!) and I have a FL2 courtesy car so can't check.

OK Have been trying to phone the company in Canterbury today to clarify some of the points raised but cannot get through to them, just an answer phone which is full Have left a message on the directors mobile and have also e mailed them. As soon as I can get the answers i will start the group buy.
With regards to positioning, Wiggs has put his next to the interior mirror and this gives a good picture, one very sad thought 9/10 times I go out to car crashes we cut the roof off, in doing this the top half of the screen and roof get chucked into the verg. So if you were unfortunate to be involved in a very serious accident the camera might get chucked along with the roof into the verg and as such get damaged possibly lossing data, what would the picture be like if the camera was placed at the bottom of the screen close to the dash, thus getting more protection in a serious accident? Sad I know but that data may well be what your claim relies on in the event of a serious accident.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Russell, if the camera is at the bottom of the screen, all you'll is your bonnet and car roofs..., no reg numbers you might need photographic evidence for.
