Not the one i've seen before but it gives an indication of cost http://www.gastech.org.uk/installgallery/L...ries3.html
Would also be worth contacting JE Engineering as they carry out conversions (and you may well get a forum discount!)

Or you could park on top of his Pratus! Wonder if he has another car, for normal use, as well as the Prius to turn up at the office feeling smug???

Decided to put the brakes on and hang on to the car for the time being. I rushed into it but I bl**dy love it so would be crazy to rush again and off-load. Company will give me time to sort things and LPG could be the way forward 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Just a point to be aware of regarding LPG. I ran a D2 V8 on LPG for 100k miles. The conversion cost 2600 and was a top of the range sequential injection system. It ran very well, and never missed a beat. It did significantly reduce the running cost.
Its not all good news though. Unless you have a HUGE lpg tank in your boot, you will have pathetic range. My D2 did 150 miles MAX between fills. Anyone offering an underfloor tank, ask them the range. Also, make sure they quote the actual amount of gas you can get in the tank, not the volume of the tank. The max tank fill is limited to 80% capacity to allow for expansion.
You will not get the same MPG on LPG as you do on petrol. LPG is about 20% less calorific value than petrol. This equates to more fuel needed for same performance. In the real world, 16mpg on petrol will be about 13 on gas. You need to take this into account when working out running cost and payback.
There seems to be fewer outlets selling lpg these days, and its gone up in cost. I used to pay 29ppl. Now its 40 -50ppl.
Its still a good proposition if you do lots of miles. Emmisions are truly low, even on a V8. I had mine MOT tested on LPG and the CO2 and particulate emmisions were negligible. The tester thought his machine had broke until I told him it was LPG

Ya never know, we could always organise a D3 'show of strength' at your MD's house, say about 3AM on a Sunday morning? 8)
