I had Alpaca (ruffled not perferated) leather fitted as a dealer option on my TDV6 S.
Really pleased with them. Look great and really comfy.
The only problem is that they do need regular cleaning because of the colour.
Intend to get a land rover seat cover but have been told that the heated seats "sweat" the leather if used when the cover is on.
Does anyone know if this is correct or was he talking rubbish.

not had any problems with mine - used with genuine LR seat covers, My 06MY had nearly 22k miles on it, the seats had the covers on for most of that and the leather looked like new

Of course the heated seats are for the wife. I never use them - honest!  Don't wait for your ship to come in,
swim out and meet the bl**dy thing.

well, its only taken 8 months, and finally, I've got a complete new seat base (to stop the sinking), and both front seat cushions replaced with the updated ones as per the TSB. Much firmer, plus much better lateral support (bigger side bolsters).
Couple of hundred mile drive tommorow - see how it feels.

Also got the new front seat bases on my "S", fantastic comfort and better side support, bum well pleased  But got to go back for complete seat frame to cure the sinking seat.... So nice to return to Disco 3 after a Freelander for the weekend, and Guy Salmon at Thames Ditton thumbs up for very clean car in and out, and finding 4 pound coins under the drivers seat! (plus no charge for loan car)..Nice one. Don't put it off, go for it!
