Flappy Paddles

Folks, I have read of several D3 conversions but the D4 conversions seem rarer ( I suppose as many come standard)

I have an Australian spec 2012 d4 with the command shift setup. I have three questions...

To add paddleshift would I need a rrs steering wheel or are the able to be fitted to the D4 one?

Does the MY12 software have the required functionality ( assuming I can get hold of a msv2 )?

Is the wiring available in the loom or is this a remote transmitter effort?

Thanks,

Ben

Flappy paddles

Has anyone upgraded the plastic paddles to the Aluminium style found in other LR JAG cars, are the evoque paddles suitable??
I've seen info on a Jag forum about swapping paddles between their models, so just wondered if the same can be done on disco 4. It looks like the evoque paddles have +&- cutout of the shifter others are moulded in and illuminate

Paddles

Sports mode is good on country roads, vehicle much more responsive and the paddles are great when overtaking no need to boot the accelerator just drop a gear and go. My mate drove ours over the weekend and couldn't believe how well it performed, said it was faster and more responsive than his 3.6V8 Sport. My Mrs is using the paddles and likes them.
Does anyone have more info regarding a possible upgrade of paddles.

its on my list to do...

have bought a radio transmitter/receiver switch( as no way to edit ccf)..just need flappies when I bump into some.

not for on road use but mainly for offroad where I think they will be used more.( dont even use command shift on road but always off it.
It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

The flappy paddles are genius off-road or when conditions are icy.

Totally agree the flappy paddles are great for off-road but even on road they can give you more control over the car Thumbs Up

Paddle upgrade

I was thinking Aluminium silver for mine, I see JAG do them in bronze which would suit some vehicles.
