I thought it was a case of a) buy the fogs as spares from TLO b) cut big holes in the bumper from the back of the already marked out plastic c) find the fog wire cable & connect it up?

There's a fair few on here that have already done it & if you search, you shoudl find some relevant posts Thumbs Up

...and buy and fit a replacement dash switch - you need the extra button to turn them on Thumbs Up

This is a picture of a switch which DOESN'T do front fogs (like yours I assume) - you can only pull the knob out by one notch

One that does do Front Fogs has a second 'fog lamp' picture on it and the knob can be pulled out by one or two notches

Tony, its easy as to do it.

First thing woul dbe to remove your bumper and have a check for the connector and then give The Large One a PM and ask him for the bits required, incl. the switch and you'll have it done in no time.

on the inside of the bumper the mould is there for where to cut etc so once you stay within the line you wont make a nags of it.

As Bodsy said, have a search around and you'll find the instructions.

Good luck

Agree with Tanters, it is an easy upgrade and took me around 2 hours (most of that spent removing and re-fitting the bumper cover). If you don't fancy it yourself I'm pretty sure Iain (10forcash) can quote you to do it.

You might find it's more economical to buy a bumper off ebay or salvage with the lamps already fitted. I managed to get a brand new one, and have it sprayed the right colour, for less than the cost of the lamps and wiring.

Fitting front fog lamps is very much like making love to a beautiful women. First, you need to knock her bumpers off, have a poke around to see if she's suitably equipped, then it's time to get your tool out. A little care and attention and you should have her holes ready and waiting for you to drop your lamp in and switch her on.

Thumbs Up

And I'm worried that you worry about me Steve. There are far more important things to worry about out there, like where Iran is, so we can bomb it. And... and...

Ok, I'm only the second most important thing you should be worrying about Confused

I think Martin will get upset when his forum descends into the level of Gizmodo and Fark; the banhammer will swing when 4chan is reached.
OT: time for a beer before Kent contract starts? There's a big development in West Malling that perhaps you could charm the sales office to let you crash in during the week.

Already in Kent, land of the gangmaster. And I have just handed over the first month's rent for a half share in a house in Coxheath Big Cry

But the idea of a beer/cider and a natter appeals immensely. You around this weekend?
