FBH not working

2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3
FBH not working

Got up this morning, and minus 1 degs. The FBH didnt come on at all, what do I start needing to look for to fix?

Take it your fuel level isn't low??

Do you still have the timer option in your settings?
Could be that its locked. A webasto dealer or LR dealer should be able to fire it up and unlock it.
Check the fuse as well.

No the timer option has gone from the screen, it used to be there as that is how he used it due to not having the fob, now its gone !

Saw smoke coming from under the engine a few days ago but only after about five minutes of the engine running, outside temperature was minus 2deg. But shouldnt it fire up before waiting five minutes?

Also noticed this evening the FBH was running on when the engine was switched off, sounded like a fan. No smoke noticeable though.

Does this sound like it's working okay?

The FBH can take a few minutes to 'fire up' and running on after engine switch off when during a heat sequence is quite normal Rolling Eyes

It switches over to a cooling mode after compelting it's heating phase.
 Never get mad - get even !!

06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k

previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)
52 X-Trail 2.2 SVE
various euro boxes !
