FBH fault code U3000

My fbh has thrown a fault which is U3000-16 (2F) Control module - General electrical failure - circuit voltage below threshold.

Any ideas anyone?

I had a similar code on my MY13. Gave the battery a good charge on the CTEK and then cleared the fault with my IID Tool. It's not come back since, and the FBH has been working fine. Thumbs Up

The fault codes are pretty good at describing what's up. Sometimes. Laughing

Battery voltage is normal. Is this a fbh pcb fault?

Yes. I have seen it once before and cleared it and now its back again. The car goes in on Tuesday for the 3 degree fix and I'll let the dealer take a look.

I am interested to know if others have had this fault and how it was fixed.

Out of interest, what is the resting voltage of your battery? Another question would be which battery are you measuring the voltage of? Being a MY16, you'll have the stop/start system and therefore a second battery.

I have no idea what runs off the auxiliary battery versus the cranking battery, but it could be somewhere to look? When I bought mine, the battery had been fubared by the time I got it, so 'persuaded' the dealer to fit a new one, which I then condition charged. Touch wood, I've had no problems since. 8)
