EXTENDED WARRANY & TOILET PAPER

Which is more useful, the loo roll, or the Extended warranty?

Discuss.

You might as well use an extended warranty to wipe your a Censored e, at least it will get some use that way, as it seems your are unlikely to be able to use on your Land Rover based on some threads on here.

Thumbs Up

The price of the warranty would pay for a good few repairs (at non franchised garage) and a years supply of the soft stuff! Thumbs Up

That's the porblem though Derek, there are not a lot off good independants around yet for the D3. I'd love to know of one in Central Scotland, as I'd go down that route I think.

Don't some of the attached links show that LR have changed some under warranty? Doesn't that set a precedence for Bigdaves claim??

I would suggest if anyone from LR reads this thread that the adverse publicity will do them no favours at all. I certainly bought the car despite the reliability issues because of the so called "warranty" support. If this is no longer "reasonable", then this would possibly give prospective buyers the negative evidence to reject the LR products. Not good business especially now where new buyers are rare enough.

Sorry to hear the bad news Bigdave, I hope you manage to get through it. Thumbs Up

Trev.

For me it would depend on the type of bog roll. SWMBO likes the Andrex Aloe Vera stuff, but I find it splits along the ribs and is not really man enough for the job.

Does anyone know of a supplier of dual bog roll holders so we could his and hers in the bathroom?

There's two up here - both doing regular servicing of D3's - even newish ones which still have warranty remaining. Shocked

Nope! Rolling Eyes (Next time I'm in there I could ask - If I remember Embarassed)

Alternatively, you could book yours into the local independent here and detail my car while you wait...... Razz Whistle
