My HSE D4 will be 3 years old at the end of September so was thinking about an extended warranty. The D4 has done 41k now but will have 3k put on it next month as we are driving to Spain for a family holiday.
The car was in the stealers today having a couple of warranty items done before it runs out and they quoted £98.50 per month to extend this with breakdown cover, or £86 without breakdown cover. LR warranty does not cover Nav, TV, RSE, air con or phone.
I had a look at warranty wise and they will do a no nonsense cover for £83 per month or £860 if you pay in one lump so £71 a month, but this includes full cover including the tv etc, but only a labour charge of £100 per hour inc vat.
As with any insurance you never need it till something goes wrong but I just wonder if I really need it, what's the chances of something major happening?

Mine will be 3 years old in 6 months too. Based on my reliability history, not a cat in hells chance I'd chance the car without a warranty...!
Thanks for the pricing info - very useful to know. 747_JK
