Hi all
I had 2 errors on the dash came up intermittently 4 days after I had 2 new tires fitted and a 4 wheel alignment done. The first was a parking brake error and the other a suspension fault. The special programs was disabled and the car lowered - not totally to access height however..
After stopping, switch off and on, all was OK again.
My D4 clock just turned over 183,000Km and I thought it was giving me signs to go replace parts on suspension, maybe some switches or wires....
At home I plugged the IID tool in and it reported C1B00 for the Steering Angle Sensor (ABS module) and the other 2 for BCM Body Control (Configuration).
Yeah right... so where do I start to unplug and clean sensors...
Then I started Googling... I found the Steering Angle sensor re-calibration links on the D3 forum... so I tried it and all is just fine again.
Although the D3 reported HDC lights that came on etc. it seems that the D4 shows different combinations of errors for the same issue.
