Had a complete park brake rebuild about 18 months ago, by Pennine 4 X 4 (Halifax). Last week got the dreaded screech, park brake locked on and various warning lights appeared on the dash.
Managed to free brake, and got home. Pennine appear to have disappeared from the face of the earth, assume they have gone under.
Booked in with Stonelake Copley.
Since booking in dash lights have gone out and the one time I inadvertently applied the park brake it worked with no screech.
First up, has anyone any news about what happened to Pennine 4 X 4 ?
Secondly, and more importantly, is my park brake recoverable? Or are we looking at the full repair?
