My 2016 SE tech has seized. It was being driven by my wife, when the dashboard lit up & display said gearbox failure. it lost all power & would not turn over after.
The car is not yet 4 yrs old & has >33k milage {sic} fully serviced by the dealership.
What are my next moves? Im not getting anywhere with the dealership, who said they cannot book it in until Mid Feb, however I know they will have to review the car to progress further.
Any advice, greatly {sic} recieved {sic}?
Since then various people have tried to help but no response from the OP..
I feel this is rude; but I can't see how one can prevent this happening from time to time.

I think all threads need to be kept, good or bad, it is all useful info for someone somewhere.

It’s sad since now we, the regulars, are left to wonder Whiskey Tango Foxtrot happened and how it was resolved, if it was...
On the other hand it isn’t possible to instill a posting culture into someone who posts only once. So while it’s Alpha Mike Foxtrot to the original poster (just kidding) this might end up as a Charlie Foxtrot just like the brexit threads ....
We just need to stay frosty

At least there’s options for a quick engine swap and the thread isn't a total waste whistle:
