Dog Guard Fitting

Has any one else had problems fitting the dog guard to the D4. Just tried fitting mine that was removed from our D3 and 4 out of the 6 brackets do not fit correctly. The loadspace floor ones force the tie down rings way too proud of the floor and the side ones next to the seats, the large tubular spacer forces the bracket way too proud of the coaming. Has the fitting kit changed since 2005 when our initial one was bought?. Looking a the site the part number is still the same for the guard. Any help would be appreciated as the Dog's new taxi can't be used properly until i get this fitted Sad

Puzzled ?
My full height LR dog guard, bought for the D3 in 2007, fitted straight into my D4 with no issues. I swapped it personally and there didn't appear to be any difference in design or dimensions to the back of the D4 when compared to the D3?

Could the brackets have bent during use or removal from the D3? I also found the "LH" "RH" stickers on some of the brackets counter intuitive when you're facing backwards to fit the guard!
Shocked

I seem to remember that TLO has stated that the part number for the guard has not changed between the two models?

I took mine from my D3 to my D4 with no problems. I guess it can only be the brackets that have been deformed or are fitted to the wrong side. Just an observation - not a critcism. Thumbs Up
