Looking at getting one of these but are dealers likely to have cars in stock or would I have a 6 month wait?

You are likely to have a 6 Month wait as LR aren't building to stock they are All to order,
You might be as well off ringing as many dealers as you can if its important that you get one sooner as some one some where will have given back word on an order and it will be gracing a showroom somewhere, it's not likely to be in the coulours that you require tho but if your not fussy I think you will find something ? Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Taunton LR have 63 reg RRS HSE in white with 50 miles on the clock for £50k. It may be a cancelled order.

100% of LR cars are built to order...but that doesn't mean the order is a human to drive them away, some dealers will spec their allocation and then sell them almost like from stock. (assuming they have slot capacity eg a customer hasn't ordered a car in that slot)
This is how those companies are able to get you a new car...technically they have bought them already.
Speak to the dealer, they may have cars in their network not allocated to a customer...if you can live with the spec or colour the dealer chose, then its yours new! Mike

All HSE Lux are 7 seats and another point to note, dealers tend to order colours/spec combos that sell or will sell - so if you want resale considerations then you wont want an obscure colour you might be in! Mike

There's a white on at Gordon Lamb in Chesterfield, was looking at it the other day (would have wanted a different colour though) as my D4's nearly 3 years old but have now decided to keep it until its 5 years old as it's only done 10.3k and is like new.

we bought new in september....a gs from the showroom....salesman advised they get heavily fined
by LR if they dont have one model of each on show......so just where do they get their stock from
