Just to follow up on this Clive fitted this for me a couple of weeks ago in my 2014 Disco 4. He's done a cracking job with everything hidden away behind the dash including option for the hardwired connection I wanted (you can link with W-ifi as well).
Frankly you wouldn't know anything had been done to the car except when I choose the "nav" button on the console I get Apple Play now instead of my 2014 era built in Sat Nav. Everything else works exactly the same as far as I can tell except I now have Apple Maps/Google Maps/Waze etc for sat nav options on the screen as well as Spotify, Apple Music, podcasts, Audiobooks, whatsapp etc.
I had a small niggle with an air vent not having seated quite right again after the install, Clive popped back the following week and sorted it out in minutes.
All in all if you want Apple Carplay or Android Auto Clive gets my recommendation.

Hi Nigel….apologies for the slow reply, busy day yesterday with a few customers…..fitting CarPlay/ Android Auto, Cutting and Programming Keys, fitting a rear propshaft and diagnosing multiple air suspension issues on a D3 …… oh and 450miles of driving in there as well….finally got home at 1am

Clive Symons (CDS) is one of the best & nicest technicians who has worked on my various Land Rovers over the years.
Although based in Oldham he covers the whole country & has visited me twice in the last couple of months.

How easy is it to remove on of the units Clive ? If my D4 doesn't sell then there's no way I'm leaving this in the car for the dealer to send straight to auction.I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
