Disco 4 looks dated compared to Disco 5
I have ordered a D5 as shown below and have the image saved as the wall paper on my PC screens. The D5 is clearly growing on me, when I look at my red D4 I think it looks dated.
Random Red D4 pic taken from LR web site.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I think the new one is stunning 8) ...sadly for me the price means that it will have to stay stunning from the outside only 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have to agree if I was to purchase purely on those pics the D5 would get my brass
However when you add in practicalities and amount of requirement for the £ and overall cost like for like and add RRS into the mix
D4 wins everytime when the 3 wants of Cost, practicality and originality are used to decide
I haven't moved up to a D4 yet so plenty to look forward to (although I am fitting a D4 heated steering wheel to my D3 over Christmas )The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Snap - if my circumstances were different, I'd have one tomorrow - but I also want to wake up to a 25 year old Raquel Welsh every morning - and I've got more chance of the later vs. the former

Stick black wheel arches on the D4 and it'll knock the new imposter into a cocked hat.
& wondered where you'd stick black wheel arches on Raquel....& howBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

To me it's just another jelly mould 4x4 that look like any other. At least they have that stupid offset rear number plate so I don't have to squint at the lettering stuck on the tailgate.

I would say that I'm not sure what fashion has to do with Land Rover, but I guess that's no longer the case. Unfortunately.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)
