Sweet Jesus!!!
I can fix most things, I'm no expert and do need help sometimes but flippin' 'eck Mikey that is awsome.
Now I can see why and how much can be done with the body lifted. You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

Usually, an MOT tester will advise that engine covers and undertrays are fitted to cover themselves if they miss anything, and pass and advise on that
Really
I've had 3 MOT's done now, and never had that crop up
I know the MOT requirements have changed recently, and are continuing to evolve to 'harmonise' with the EU (no comment ) but I still didn't think a MOT tester was allowed to 'remove' any factory fitted covers etc, and as the driver you just say "don't know how it comes off mate" Never get mad - get even !!

Stephen, PM me your number. Best not to have it splattered over a public forum
That's a great detailed thread Coo, thanks for the reply but I didn't see anywhere what I asked originally which was do the EGR valves have to actually be on the car at all and can I then blank the exhaust side and related pipework with the EGR's not on the car?
I ask this as I am rebuilding my engine and was hoping I didn't have to actually put them back on the car at all?
