Hi all,
when you are next crawling under your D3 remove the second bash plate and check your front diff seals and the gearbox seal just behind the diff housing. mine had a leak and the LR are replacing both diff and gearbox. Seems they have these parts in stock for just such an occasion. Also check your steering wheel for surface distortion, some time ago they refused to replace mine saying that it had been damaged by chemicals but now are replacing every one that comes in to be serviced.
At his rate i will have a new car by the time warrantee is up in 2009. 8)

Hi Stevo,
When you say distortion on the steering wheel, can you be more specific please. In the last few months my steering wheel has developed a rough patch on the surface about the size of a 10 cent coin that is quite annoying when driving. Is this the same sort of issue?
I recently had the front diff replaced as well due to leaking a pinion seal. Control arm bushes, sway bar bushes, front ball joints & drivers seat base were replaced too. It may have been cheaper for LRA to give me a new one.

As for the steering wheel material.
Mine did get replaced by the dealer after they had to order it from the UK.
