Derbyshire lanes from Buxton to Whaley Bridge
This is the first half of a route I have planned in Derbyshire. Ran out of time yesterday, so will have to go back and complete it later.
Runs from about a mile north of Buxton into Whaley Bridge and took about 1 1/2 hours. The lanes are moderate, narrow in places, and will result in a dose of bramble rash as they grow over the summer.

If you have View Ranger you can grab it on there, that's where I found most of it, but before I used it, I cross referenced with trailwise.org to check the status of the lanes used. You have to be careful with the routes on VR, I have found several that use lanes which are not open to motor vehicles. Some of them are old so the usage has changed since they were created, but quite a few new ones include illegal sections.

Yes, I was on my own. The track surfaces are pretty solid all the way, just narrow in places. There are two rules for success,

If you're free and fancy it, either Sunday or Monday, I have a second half to that route to try out. Runs from just North of Whaley Bridge then runs South. Could meet up and make a pair for it. SWMBO and son usually tag along.
If you're interested, I'll dig the route out and send it to you. There are two rules for success,
