D4 Reversing Camera and FBH Receiver Removal |
|
Time to trade in my beloved D4 so I'm going to remove a couple of bits that I added on when I first purchased the D4.
Reversing Camera - I kept the original parts including the wiring loom section when I originally installed the camera. Once removed and the original bits re-installed will I need to get it de-activated using an IID/Nanocom or will the car recognise that the camera isn't there and revert back to original factory settings?
FBH Receiver - as above, once removed will it need to be de-activated using an IID/Nanocom tool?
Any advice gratefully received!

If you remove the camera without deactivating it, you'll find the screen goes black.
Remote for the FBH, just unplug it and remove it from the frame mount. Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks for your reply. I will arrange for the car to be reset so that the parking sensors graphic is re-activated after the removal of the camera.
