D3 misfiring and then dieing

Good afternoon (or not so good)
my 08 D3 has a problem. it shuddered and started miss firing in traffic yesterday I pulled over and it stopped, it would restart but miss fire and would only run for a few seconds.

I got it dragged home and have had a bit of a look this morning. engine light has not come on and there are no codes for the engine some for other modules but mostly low voltage lost coms etc from the battery going flat after having the lights and flashers going and a few restarts.

Battery charged and a few tests. the lift pump is work not sure what the pressure is but fuel is flowing, on starting the engine runs at 550 to 650 rpm and is miss firing, fuel pressure at up to 44840 kpa (448 bar) and the cylinder balancing offset for all cylinders is 1000.

Any ideas where i should try looking?
