Wheel alignment done; drives terrible.
Got my wheel alignment done this afternoon, Hunter system and familiar with the D3.
A quick blast on the A1m and she's wandering in a straight line @50mph+ and the bump steer is shocking. As I pull across the aggressive, white dashed lines of a slip road, the left side completely lets go. Seemingly fine on the back roads at lower speeds. Responsive but not overly and stays straight with no hands on the wheel.
With the exception of the rear right camber, everything is accordingly in spec but given problems seem to be at higher speeds, maybe that back wheel is all the issue.
I picked up right at the end of the working day and didn't pay much attention to the sheet at the time. No qualms calling tomorrow and getting them to have another look but wondering if anyone has any thoughts.
1300 miles across Europe towing 3.5t on Monday do very much needs to be right.

Tyres. I had that with Pirelli Scorpions. The car was almost undriveable, terrible tramlining and squirming under braking. I knew the geometry was right, I'd done new arms all round, and had the geometry done twice. Changed the tyres for new, it was like a different car. Drives straight and true, no following white lines, no bump steer.

Have you checked all bushings?

Hope you got it sorted, out of interest who did you use, as I need to book mine in and there arent that many Hunters in our neck of the woods? (message me if you dont want to put it on the forum)

Sorry for the late reply.
Dexel Tyres on Scorer street sorted it in the end; I shouldn't have tried anywhere else. They are the only ones that have managed to get it perfect on my vehicle every time over the years.
In the above posts, I had been to another place in Cambs while working. I did return but while they managed to eliminate the bump steer, they couldn't get rid of the swaying. A trip up to Lincoln and Dexel sorted it.
Both garages running the same Hunter system so not sure why the first one was struggling.

Likely the first garage's alignment equipment is out of calibration. It's something that needs to be checked regularly or the geometry will be incorrect.
How does the report from the second garage compare with the first one?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
