Oh, the best part was at the end of the day, when you wanted to go home, you flicked 2 switches and turned a dial, turning the D3 from rock crawler to tarmac spec, setting the heating just so.. and putting the cruise at 70 and letting it munch the miles to take me back home.
By the time I got home I was freezing and as sore as anything. Because Stephen hasn't had time to put his headlining in yet, the roof was acting like a big fridge totally overcoming any effort the heater was making.Joined the BMWX5 45e group

That's the one.
I went further to the left to see if I could get a good angle out of it.
It did throw up a curious point over the D3/D4 for how the terrain response works. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

Right...car washed and damaged surveyed.....
Couple of bits of gorse scoring.......already used G3 and they're gone....
One alloy a bit scruffy.....a little work and it will be fine......
Side Tube was bent up.....took it off and it was actually the bracket that was bent......a few clouts with a mash hammer and its straight and now back on the car.....
All in a very successful day.....it was certainly a test for my first outing, but thoroughly enjoyed it..... "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
