Correct engine oil level.

The oil in my D4 has always shown one mark below Max.I got the oil and filter done yesterday and this morning the oil is one mark above the half mark. The mechanic says that's correct but is it? Many thanksm

You should ask him how much oil he added when he re-filled the car? It should be 5.9 litres on a D4 for a service... whatever you do DO NOT OVERFILL !
I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Anywhere from 50% to 75% is acceptable with a cold engine on level ground.
