Convert speedo from Kilometres to Miles
Hi
I've recently relocated to the UK from Australia and brought a 2012 Landrover Discovery 4 SDV HSE with me. I couldn't bare to leave it behind. I'm required by VOSA to change the speedo from kms to miles. I've tried to change the digital readout by going through the trip computer options and holding the button down for several seconds as per manuals. I managed to change km/l to mpg but it doesn't change speed from km to miles.
I've contacted two local Landrover dealers to ask what to do. They weren't sure either and have told me that they will contact Landrover themselves.
Any help will be appreciated. It's off the road until I can change and satisfy VOSA

Right hand button on the steering wheel brings up several options one of them allows you to changes the speedo from kph yo kph or other way round. You do not need to hold the button just one push for each change. You can only move the digital readout and not the analogue display that requires a new instrument pack. Currently got the digital but set to kph as I am in France.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Thanks Russell for the prompt reply.
Sadly I've tried this again without success. It will only change the fuel economy readout to mpg but doesn't change the speed from km to miles. I've read on other forums, for some unbelievable reason, that you can only change this through the trip computer for UK, NAS and Canadian market vehicles.
There must be a way to do it.

I don't think you can do it via the dash but a CCF edit could change your region to give you the functionality. You can buy a tool such as an IID Tool of Nanocom or get a forum sponsor to do it for you.

My MY12 when setting to Km from miles will read KM per hour in the digital readout center dash only, surely must be the same in reverse.... though it is a Landrover

If your talking about the warning when you exceed a certain speed it's there on mine.....visual warning only in the centre console,as far as I can see it's not an audible warning "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

The regional settings vary according to market and this chap has an Aus vehicle. Regional setting need a CCF edit to change.
