I would love to do it but don't think I'm brave enough, wife wouldn't let me near the oven as her words are I could burn a salad and being follicly challenged don't have much experience with a hair dryer.
Is there anywhere or anyone that do these mods.

Still love the car although the extras I want for it are mounting, things to do.
colour code arches and bumpers (maybe)
fit side steps and removed chrome tubes
gearbox flush, no issues but better safe than sorry
get lights de tango'd
fix PDC (probably first job)
polish, polish and more polish.

well today I thought I would take a quick look at the parking sensors, I thought I would go for the easy option and check the front loom first, removed the front bumper and did a continuity test on the loom and the front loom seem to be ok, if the weather is ok tomorrow may have a go at the back but the rear bumper looks more difficult to get off.

removed the rear bumper today, all 4 sensors were unplugged, checked the loom with a continuity test and rear loom seems ok, plugged in all 4 sensors and same fault, may have a quick look at the connections to the module but chucking it down now.

I have plucked up the courage and detango'd the lights today, first one not at neat as I was a bit inpatient and tried separating with a screw driver half way through so a few marks in the case (not many as I learned quick it wasn't helping), all done and back together just need to see if they are water tight.

I was the same with the 1st one, you soon learn to go a bit easier. As long as you put plenty of heat round them when you were putting them back together they should be fine.

So after approximately 6 weeks of ownership I have been working through my list of things to do, so far I have
DE TANGO LIGHTS
FITTED D4 STYLE GRILLE
FITTED D4 REAR LIGHTS
HAD THE TRANSMISSION FLUSHED
EGR BLANK
BAS REMAP
COLOUR CODED HANDLES AND MIRRORS
DAB ADAPTOR FITTED
HEKO WIND DEFLECTORS
it is booked in for the 8th of next month to have the arches colour coded, I have a set of side steps and mud flaps in the garage ready to fit
I know my car is not to everyone's taste but it is only used to cart my kids around and will probably never even see a muddy field
fitted the wind deflectors today and also made a trickle charge lead that goes around the engine bay and has the connector down by the grille so I don't have to keep lifting the bonnet every trip.

I was sorting out my paperwork and it would appear that I have so far spent £2100 on tinkering in my first 6 weeks of ownership.
