Cleaning exterior of caravan
The caravan has just had its annual service. The engineer suggested that a good clean with "Silky" would not come amiss. Have to admit it is in need of a good clean and polish. Anyone tried this product?

No I use auto glym products to wash ours and then a good polish and wax again with auto glym. Normally do ours whilst on holiday in France and find it very therapeutic.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Yes, Silky has been around for years. It's a non-abrasive stuff that you use a bit like polish, but wash off rather than let dry. I haven't used it for several years now, but it does work.
Another for Greased Lightning, panels and windows, also removes black streaks with a wipe.

Silky is very good for getting the black marks off.
I had stop using it in favour of greased lightning but found that gl was no good for the front panel of the van - for some reason it doesn't polish nice or get rid of the marks so use silky on this panel.
