The online retailers, eBay, and amazon all seem close to £31, but that’s what my local Land Rover dealer parts department wanted, and they got it next day for collection.
Kajtzu listed the LR part number a couple of posts up, so you can always google for it just in case you can find it cheaper, but I couldn’t yesterday.

By the looks of it some 500% increase in price since it was released, if people originally got it for £6.
Asked the LR dealer if it would be something LR would cover as it’s a part failure; flat no, but you never know was worth a shot!

I had a new front diff fitted last Oct, at recent service by different indy I was told my new diff was leaking.
Booked it in for today and was just told that this was down to a blocked breather pressuring the diff
All fixed now, had only done 2k miles, fingers crossed no damage has been done

Hi I'm not sure, I know the D3's had a foam filter in the breather that failed with age, I would think that this would have been corrected by the D4, but worth checking

Would this help, ref part number, however I’m not 100% if it’s the D4 breather
Know it’s an overkill , but when I done mine I cut the old one off , fitted a plastic pushfit coupling then run it round the aux battery area

Only £16 at Rimmerbros for a genuine part. Just ordered - hopefully cures front diff weeping! Has this cured weeping for most people who have changed this valve? Wish I had appreciated how this could explain diff weeping before swapping out the driveshaft seals!

The blocked breather caused the diff to be pressurised and made a mess of my new diff, garage changed the breather and cleaned diff, all sorted

Swapped mine when I replaced front diff a couple of months ago, £16 inc delivery from Rimmers
Took 5 mins to swap2005 TDV6 SE Auto

hi friend, are you just did cut it and the leak stoped? i done it on my car today and i hope that stop leak! cause change seals here in brazil is very expensive to dissasemble it
