I always feel as the car ages s/h becomes less and less important, and it is mainly a warranty period thing.
You cant beat an enthusiast owner for decent regular/servicing.
Thank you very much for that offer, really kind. However, After hearing the advice above I’ve now actually moved on and after the blinkers have come off have found quite a few other options. Got a possible in Wolverhampton that I think is well worth a look.
100k miles but with a decent bit of history and proof of recent jobs being done. Really decent price too.

Still looking.
Have missed out on a couple sue to distance / work etc.
Missed one today that looked really good as someone got there before me. The ones that look half decent are not hanging around at all. (Really frustrating when i've been looking for so long..)

another 2 viewed. One was horrendously filthy and un-cared for inside. The other today had poor body work, no service history and the rear wishbone ( i think that is what they are called..? ) was all over the place (even after having an MOT with no advisories... ).
I never thought it would be so hard to find a loved Disco for the right price. Quite frustrating.

Why don’t you take a look at the vehicles on sale on this forum? They seem to be well maintained and in rather good shape..

And finally, I am now the proud and very happy owner of a 2005 D3 HSE. It’s a high miler but has absolutely faultless history.
Very happy with it indeed.
I still can’t get over the difference between this and my D2!
Look forward to seeing you around in it - what colour?
Mine's Waitomo Grey.

Hi Bubblehead,
If you are in the process of looking for a good D3 then I would advise that you "Vcheck" anything you like the look of first , it will give you a full run down of the vehicles history. I Used it when buying mine and it saved me a lot of grief !!.
Just google vcheck, it costs money to use it but could save you a fortune in the long run.
Good luck on your hunt.
Regards Dave.

Congrats. Do remember to update your member profile with the correct type of vehicle
You should see the color name and code (LRC xxx) on the label under the bonnet.
