Brake warning light

Hi Guy's, Need some help or advise..

Just had 60k service, Dealer advised that pads worn low and discs lipped, as usual they wanted both arms and a leg to replace!
Anyway, a few days later the pad warning light came on.. Today i've changed the discs, pads and sensor wire, but the light is still on (new rear brakes and sensor on the rears 3k ago) - do I need to get this put out at the dealer?

Thanks for any help

No ... Light should go out if the sensor is fitted correctly or not shorting out

If you've changed the front sensor, double check the rear sensor.

Thanks for replies.

I checked the rear sensor, just in case, all seems to be fine. Its a patern part sensor, I suppose it could be faulty. I'll plug to the old one back in tomorrow, cut the end off and join the wires, see if the light goes out..

Just make sure that the front connector has the small brass spring like connector in it. Have a look at the brake bible in my link below for some pics.
