2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Tonga GreenDiscovery 3
Blown clutch 30,000 miles

I'm new to the BB and currently have a post running in the maintenance forum. I have been a happy Discovery II and 3 owner with no problems for the last 6 years ( Currently D3 HSE 18 months old) but after my 30,000 mile service as I drove home the parking brake warning light came on and the clutch began to slip. When I returned with it to the dealers they informed me the clutch was blown. It's all detailed on the other forum however the dealer is saying it's not a warranty issue and I'm trying to establish if blown clutches at 30K are in issue with D3's. I don't tow and do minimal off-roading. Vehicle was driving great before the servicing.

Rather than repeating the thread it may be better to build a Poll and see if anyone else has had a clutch fail and to see if it was fixed under warranty Smile
