Scratches can be got rid of. T-Cut used to be the way, but apparently not so now.

Maybe get one of the mobile 'magic' repairers to have a look (Dent Master seem to be around Manchester a lot these days)

I wish! he was 'out of control' Shocked

He was travelling far too fast for the blind bend and was lucky not to have a head on with me. I was far too busy keeping the D3 out of the way to get his number Crying or Very sad

I've just sold my 174bhp Transporter T5 and replaced it with the D3. The T5 was almost the fastest thing on the roads.

I looked at a T5 Transporter (174bhp version)- came out more expensive than the D3, as a glorified people carrier! Nice quality though.

Back in my Transit driving days Sprinters were always the ones to take on, they're definitely faster than a Transit but they don't corner anywhere near as well.

As a Sprinter 413 driver on occasions, I seem to spend a lot of time shaking off Transits that try and slip stream me. Twisted Evil Looking at the big VW to replace the Sprinter this summer. 8)

Sorry to hear about your incident chap. Did it look like a delivery van or was it just a scroat. If it was a delivery van park there same time today you may see him again. Wink

Nightmare

Had mine keyed across the front bumper when 2 weeks old, you don't know whether it is jealosy, tree huggers or just plain vandalism by kids.
Tried chipsawawy but they don't like long scratches.
Local bodyshopdid a good job and it was cheeper than what chipsaway would of been judging by the estimate I got for a very small repair on my van (no it is red Gareth).
The worrying thing is you never know if it is going to happen again Twisted Evil
Good luck with yours, you too Gareth, I too got forced over by a Sprinter, kerbed the nside wheel, luckily in my van not the D3
 Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Gee we don't seem to have the "White Van Man" down under. We do have cr@p Taxi drivers but every country have them.

But we do have young P Plate drivers (male & female) who drive like they want to die. Maybe they are our version of WVM.
