Looking good !! what remap is it?

So confirmed it is a stage 1 , he also installed the EGR delete/removal kit.
Took it back in and found another fault that air induction flap/butterfly was jammed closed so he removed and cleaned out all the soot/carbon as it was quite dirty
Now you can feel the hike in power

scopions are really good, never felt like they are going to loose grip on the road. I had them on my D2 for years then finally changed brand to a more modern pattern. Regretted it every day as it felt I was driving on ice. So sticking to My scorpions going forward.

Thanks. I love the Scorpions. They are pricey but the tyre place down the road has online ordering same day delivery and can get em for about £120 each fitted so not too bad. I read quite a few people on the forums love them too

So.…. been a while for good reason. The landy has been off the road for a number of months.
It seems there were a few problems....first it had front end damage some time ago, this I knew as they bonnet had been replaced. What I didn't know was that apart from the substandard alternator, the air con water pump is different in some discovery 3's. Someone fitted the wrong one for my car which led to belt issues and wearing.
Also the MOT done before I purchased is very dubious as there was not one single advisory.
A new garage, LRX in Leek and 3 months later this was the bill from an MOT

I was also advised to ditch the scorpion tyres despite my research. The guy at LRX advised and I quote "if I had the choice between some Chinese fake tyres and Pirelli Scorpions...I would go for the Chinese"
So have replaced one tyre for a General Grabber AT3 and will replace all the others soon

Many lessons learnt. All expensive. Any advice would be welcome to prevent me and others from making the same mistakes again.
