Just arrived on the drive
2016 Disco 4 3.0 SD v6 Landmark in Santorini Black
Have spent this afternoon moving bits over from the D3, still have the ProSpeed roof rack and ladder to go over.
I've driven serval D4s before, but am struck by how much more refined it is than a D3!
still getting used to finding switches and locations of things.
considering swapping the wheels with the GGAT3s over from the D3.
need to buy and fit mud flaps and side steps, then transfer over the split charge system.

Lovely looking car, Ben. Cleaning those drain tubes was the straw that broke your back then?

To be honest I loved the D3, I wasn't looking to change but the opportunity arose to buy this one and I took it.
Still have the D3 - just writing the spec now for the sales advert. Going to remove the proSpeed roof rack this week and swap it over then, give it a decent clean and it's ready for a new owner.formerly Disco3Ben

Have swapped the wheels with the D3:
so now have the GG AT3s on this car.
I would say it was smoother on the 20 inch D4 wheels, but have already put the AT3s to good use so it's working well.
The D3 wheels don't have a tyre pressure sensor - is it worth buying some and fitting or is it possible to turn the sensors off with the iiD tool? what do others do?
I've survived this far in life without them so am not that bothered!
Also realised today that I haven't swapped the spare wheels over another job to sort!formerly Disco3Ben

I've got a second set of wheels with TPMS and the Disco picks them up when I change them over, the sensors are readily available and I believe required on your vehicle but no doubt others will be along with a definitive answer.

interesting - is it law to have them working if it's an option on your car?
when parked on the drive the D4 computer does pick up the sensors from the wheels now on the D3!formerly Disco3Ben

could be wrong but its the valves that act as sensors so should be poss to transfer valves overD4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

You are correct, I think!
But rather than take two cars and pay for 8 wheels to have the tyres removed, valves swapped and then all refitted I though tit might be simpler to either turn them off or buy another set (unless they are bonkers expensive?!)formerly Disco3Ben

Must be fitted part of orig mandatory equip.
think about £25 a valve, if you shop around, remember spare too D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
