Mine didn't have any sign of leaks but performance definitely improved when I fitted on of Petes silicone hoses so it was definitely on the way out. Easy mod to do (though the bottom fitting was a bit challenging with an Alisport intercooler fitted) and it'll rule it out at the cause of the problem if nothing else

This is the first time ive heard of this once I saw this thread Shocked Are you sure the clips are tight with no sharp part cutting into the hose and that you dont have a leak from a loose clip misting onto the pipe ?

I have the very first production hose still fitted to my wifes car with no problems and many many other customers also with no problems, please check for leaks elsewhere on the engine inlet side.

where are you seeingh sweaty oil from, what part ? pics ?

Pete

Hi

Nooo, dont buy a new one ! take it off and inspect it, if it has a genuine build problem for any reason ill replace it as warranty after I have verifyed any build error. That said I really cant see how it can be from the inside as long as you have not split or cut it with the clamp or any sharp part on the clamp but we will see.

Or you have a leak on a egr blank possibily blowing mist on to the hose ? when you get pictures it will help. you can email them direct [email protected] and ill see faster.

Cool, as said if its a hose error you do have 12 months warranty as standard. As your hose is older than 12 months and warranty has expired ill replace it out of good will after my inspection providing the hose has failed from some non interference natural cause or material error.

I'm curious, what/where is the IC hose?
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

The hose goes from the intercooler drivers side to the plastic inlet manifold.
