Your right there it will for sure if you take them off. No chance of winter tyres on my VW Golf hire car from Inverness airport, so please leave them on your SWMBO's car till Sunday evening On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Prob not taking them off til May!! May 2010 we had snow settling on the ground, in July 2010 we had snow falling but not settling. Looking forward to a tropically balmy 2012 though.

It didn't last long, sun is out and it's warmed up a couple of degrees. If this Golf (type thing) can get up & over Slochd in proper snow you'll be fine. Was 11c here last night, luverly & tropical.

Good family food... we chose Skiing Do, next door to Boots on the main street. All the meat localally sources and the burgers are great. We have three very hungry kids and they loved it. The dessert bar (loads of huge ice cream dishes) is great too as were the staff. Cost us an average of £20 a head including drinks. Interior "cosy" with a world/skiing theme, but was clean and didn't feel cramped. We don't eat out much, but will go back there next year. Have a good time, wish we were going back again sooner.

Doesn't really fit the nice romantic special meal need though, especially if full of refugees from the ski slope (kids & all) due to no snow.

Yes fair point, but the 2 bits of toast does come with Soup of the day followed by Slow braised pork belly with smoked sausage and green fresh lentils, so that will do me as a wee snack before I tackle Slochd in my Golf thingy on the way down to Inshriach On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie.
