Attempt stopped D3/D4 twin turbo Upgrade 2.7 TDV6

Well as we know the 2.7 is a mere single turbo and Land Rover decided to upgrade the D4 to dual Turbo with the new software and Bus speeds of newer tech at the same time.

So, I have been studying the beast and have found that they basically intergrated a standard wastegate turbo on the Right handside of the engine with a mere increase of the engine to by 300cc, so you can guess what really makes the D4 more responsive, yes the second turbo!

so to start you will need some bits!

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Right got some more goodies enroute Thumbs Up

Turbo stand alone controller for the boost

And for the high pressure air routing

To get me started Rolling Eyes

As it has to come round to the left entry point and combine into the left turbo intercooler feed high pressure air, so custom hose needed here, maybe something already on the market, will let you know as if available cost is a lot less Thumbs Up

Looking forward to the end result Thumbs Up

I do believe anything is possible. A friend of mine has just finished putting a 7 litre Cummins lorry engine, into a 110 Defender, and now he has just made a custom twin turbo for it! The thing nearly pulls wheelies!
